For this job, our Surrey roofing contractor team in Dorking visited a property experiencing ongoing leaks through their home extension roof. Here's what happened.

ROOFING SERVICE: Assessing and fixing home extension roof leaks

This property owner got in touch when their home extension roof had a significant leak. We attended as quickly as possible, carrying out an in-depth inspection. During our assessments, we found the home extension roof had been poorly installed by another contractor.

We showed our client where the source of the leaks was and explained the risks of leaving the roof without repairs. They confirmed they were happy for us to complete the required flat roof repairs, which we fitted into our schedule at the earliest convenience.

THE RESULTS

The existing extension roof was EPDM rubber, which we have specialist experience with, so we conducted the repairs to the highest of standards for our client.

The rubber material hadn't been installed to a good standard, so this needed correcting, re-laying sections to ensure the seams became watertight.

After the work, our client said leaks are no longer an issue for their extension, and they're planning to book us in to perform some upgrades on their property's pitched roofing.
