Two flat roofs replaced in SW19

The two-man team were polite, showed up on time, and worked hard until late afternoon. They kept the site very tidy, which was not an easy job given the small bits of old roofing that were taken off. They were also flexible; when we requested a different sort of fascia board, they complied without complaint. If we have more roof work to be done, I would not hesitate to hire them again.

New gutters, down pipes, fascias and soffits fitted in Wimbledon

We were given a comprehensive quote, quickly and without fuss. The work was carried out on time, to a high standard, and we were always kept fully informed. The workmen were friendly, courteous, worked hard in all weathers, and tidied up completely on completion. So I'd recommend them without hesitation, and would definitely use them for any future work. Thanks to all the team.

Flat roof resurfaced in Balham

Steve came out promptly to give a quote which I felt was very reasonable and the work was completed within a week. Very happy with the result, a very neat, excellent job. The roofers, Matt and Gary, were cheery and friendly but also polite and professional and tidied up 100%. The many other positive comments speak for themselves. Would certainly recommend and use again.

Earlsfield GRP fibreglass and flat roofing

We are roofing specialists and install the British-manufactured CrysticROOF fibreglass roofing. This advanced fibreglass roofing system is suitable for both residential and commercial properties and it can be used on flat, valley or pitched roofs and is a longer-lasting alternative to more traditional reroofing methods, such as lead, felt and bitumen. Here are a few reasons to choose fibreglass flat roofing:

It is guaranteed for 25 years, whereas most conventional roofs tend to have a guarantee of just five to 10 years
It offers superb performance and is watertight, promising to keep the weather outside… outside!
It is versatile and can be manipulated into any shape, so is suitable for a range of roof shapes
It is low maintenance
It will add value to your property
No heating equipment is required to fit it, so it does not pose a fire hazard

What our roofing customers in Earlsfield say about us

Job was re-render and flashing to a chimney stack with difficult access. Stephen kindly honoured a quote from over a year ago. Another highly scoring checkatrade roofer declined to quote this job because he couldn't work out how to access the chimney! Where as Stephen was unphased and positive. We had a lot of intermittenet rain during the work and the work carried on when possible. Done to a good standard. Some opportunistic roof fixes were done while the scaffolding was up and we were charged a fair price for this. Can't fault the professionalism - polite, hard working and cleaned up afterwards. Some (inevitable) broken tiles were replaced as promised. Would recommend .

If you are looking for a highly skilled, professional and honest local firm, you have found them. They re-tiled the main roof of our house, replaced all the insulation, and also replaced a troublesome extension roof and roof windows. The change to the main roof dramatically improved how warm the house, and the extension roof has finally been watertight after several other firms tried and failed. Steve, Matt and the team are very professional and courteous, they come when they say they will, you get lots of communication and visits, and the bill matches the estimate. They also provided insurance, and were able to provide certification for building regs on the insulation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and neighbours.

I first used South Thames roofing to replace a large flat roof a few years ago, from the outset they were very responsive and professional and finished the job to a high standard. After such a positive first experience, I recently used them again for another, separate smaller flat roof that was in need or repair, Steve was very responsive to all my calls and emails and did multiple visits before providing a competitive quote. We went down the route of replacing the roof and he managed to fit us in at short notice. Steve and his team are incredibly friendly and always put the customer first. They very quickly took the stress of the leak away from me and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of roof advice or repairs.
